
| The thickened sludge is mixed with FeCl3 as coagulant. The Rhenipal B or C is mixed with process water ( average addition rate is 50% on the basis of dry substance ). Both streams are then merged using two static mixers. The resulting blend is kept in suspension in the holding tank for de-watering by a chamber press system. The resulting cake is stabilised. | |
