| DIRK can supply fully
mobile or permanently installed chamber/plate presses. Our German suppliers, with whom we have an exclusive UK supply contract, have
been chosen for the renowned quality of their machines, reliability and performance. Our chamber presses therefore, are among the most efficient available, dewatering up to 25m3/hr of wet sludge input ( for the mobile unit ) having a dry solids content of around 2% and producing a cake having between 30% and 35% dry solids content using polymer and minimal labour input. In urgent cases, DIRK prides itself on its ability to supply mobile dewatering machines at very short notice, usually within about a week, or, in extreme cases, a few days. Our mobile or permanently installed chamber/plate presses are ideally suited to the use of our unique alkaline stabilisation products – "Rhenipal".

We can supply or rent
all necessary equipment to pre-inject the Rhenipal product into the sludge, prior to and
as part of the dewatering process. This enables a much lower addition rate of Rhenipal and
hence significant savings when compared with the stabilisation of dewatered cake. We supply all dewatering units on a sale or rent basis. When rented we would prefer to supply our own experienced operators. Our customers provide the sludge, power (when available) and polymer. Charges can be on a c/month or c/m3 basis. DIRK can also provide skilled personnel to operate or maintain our customers and/or our equipment |
